Liam Abate

 Liam Abate is a New York-based actor and singer, and is thrilled and honored to be a part of Dublin Rising. He is a recent graduate of the Theater Performance program at Wagner College. He recently starred in two original plays in New York, The Forgotten Land at Theater 54, and The Devil Tree Part II: Just Desserts at The Players Theatre. Other theater credits include Titanic: The Musical(John B Thayer), 1776 (Col Thomas McKean), and The Pirates of Penzance (Pirate Ensemble).  Stephano Andreotti

Stephano Andreotti is a classically trained tenor vocal performer who has served the stage for 13 years. Stephano has had the honor of performing throughout America, Italy, and Denmark. A multi-time competition winner, Stephano has won double first place in the NATS competition for musical theatre and classical voice, along with winning the international Festival of Song USA competition. As the winner of Festival of Song USA, Stephano was sent to Sicily to perform, and won honors at, Cantemare. He then continued to Arpino, Italy and was an honored soloist in Arpino Piazza. Stephano also performed at Castello Ristonchi in Pelago, Italy. He has also been featured on television and local media outlets like News 12 Long Island, Italian America Long Island, The Aurelia talk show, 2Bscene, and many more! 

   Stephano’s Lyric Tenor voice is usually characterized by its deceivingly dark timbre and presence. His voice has had success in the genres of opera, classical music, music theatre, traditional pop song, and jazz. Stephano also has talents and experience with additional endeavors such as film and stage acting, modeling, writing, poetry, professional wrestling, and martial arts.



Cristina María Castro

 Cristina María Castro is a sought-after performer in both opera and musical theatre. She was a young artist with Chautauqua Opera this past summer, and recently returned to NYC to perform Monica in City Lyric Opera’s production of The Medium.  A lover of new music, she has had the honor of originating and creating two roles: Cristina Maria in Local Opera Local Artists’ opera pastiche entitled We Might be Struck by Lightning and Catherine in a New York Theatre Festival new musical called Bright is the Ring of Words. She has also workshopped many compositions in Frontiers with the Fort Worth Opera Festival.  Two of her favorite roles include Maria in West Side Story and Despina in Cosí fan tutte.Having grown up in Texas while staying true to her Puerto Rican roots, follow Cristina María’s TexaRican adventures both on and off stage @cmcsoprano.

Michelle DellaFave

 Michelle DellaFave became a familiar face to millions of television viewers starting in 1969 through the early '70s singing and dancing each week on Dean Martin’s wildly successful NBC television series. 

At the age of 19, she was selected to be one of Dean’s Golddiggers both on his show and on The Golddiggers' own network summer variety series. A year later, she was chosen to be one of four members of The Dingaling Sisters, who performed their own numbers and sang with with Dean and his guest stars on every episode of his program. Those programs gave her the opportunity to work alongside some of the most famous luminaries and legends in the history of show business — from Frank Sinatra, Bing Crosby and Lena Horne to Jimmy Stewart, Orson Welles, Debbie Reynolds, and more. 

As a member of The Golddiggers and lead singer of The Dingalings, Michelle took part in two of Bob Hope’s USO Tours, entertaining American troops stationed around the world. She and her girl group cohorts also served as the opening act for numerous Las Vegas acts, from Tony Bennett to Engelbert Humperdinck. In addition, Michelle was featured regularly as one-half of the singing-dancing "Soul Sisters" on Jonathan Winters' syndicated series; made guest appearances on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson and The Mike Douglas Show; played one of the Radio City Rockettes in the film version of the musical "Annie"; and has sung and acted in many Equity theater presentations — with lead roles in every type of show from the musical Grease to the dramatic bio-drama Playing for Time. Most recently, she co-starred in the NYC-based productions Harriet Tubman, The Woman and NYC Lamentations

From 2007 to 2009, Michelle and one of her colleagues from The Dean Martin Show toured the country as the musical duo "Blue Eyed Soul,” entertaining veterans, as well as active duty service men and women, and visiting VA hospitals. 

And over the last few years, Michelle has continued performing for veterans’ groups, and headlined concerts at several New York City nightclubs, including The Metropolitan Room (where she’s performed a total of six times), 54 Below, The Duplex ,The Friars Club, Don’t Tell Mama, The Triad and Club Bonafide. Besides producing two of her own vocal CDs — a pop jazz album called "Cool Burn" and a Gospel collection entitled "Transformed — Michelle has also recorded several popular singles over the last few years, with all of her music available on itunes, Amazon, Google Play, and other outlets. She performs regularly for US Tours in their Bob Hope tribute show, and is a soloist at St Marks Church in the Bowery. 

On Vietnam Veterans Day in 2017, she received the United War Veterans Council Award for service to America’s Vietnam Veterans, and was recently the recipient of a Certificate of Appreciation from USAG Fort Hamilton for Entertainment performances there and at the hospital.

 Nathan Yates Douglass

 Nathan Yates Douglass is thrilled to be appearing in Dublin Rising. Nathan is an actor, singer, multi-instrumentalist based in New York City. Known for his athletic upright bass performance style, he's appeared around the US and abroad in numerous productions of Million Dollar Quartet, Heartbreak Hotel, and The Buddy Holly Story. Cara Ferro

 Cara Ferro, soprano, just completed her engagement with the San Francisco Conservatory of Music as a Post-Graduate studying under Susanne Mentzer. There she sang the role of Mrs. Peachum in The Threepenny Opera and Donna Anna in their spring scenes program. She has a bachelor’s and master’s degree in Vocal Performance from the University of Delaware. Some credits with UD Opera Theatre include the title role of Lucretia Borgia, Mary Warren in The Crucible, Konstanze in Die Entführung aus dem Serail, Step-Mother in The Juniper Tree and Fiordiligi in Cosí fan tutte. Professionally, she has sung with OperaDelaware and Baltimore Concert opera in their chorus. Cara was also awarded the F. Warren James Memorial award upon her undergraduate graduation which granted her the opportunity to sing the National Anthem at UD’s 2016 commencement ceremony. In the summer of 2018 Cara travelled the world, with the UD Chorale and independently, singing numerous solos in songs such as Battle of Jericho, Oh Mary Don't You Weep, and Variations on Jingle Bells. Chris Jumper

 Chris is thrilled to be joining the Dublin Rising family! He recently spent the month of October as a haunt actor in Gateway’s Haunted Playhouse. Favorite New York Credits include: Zimbe! at Carnegie Hall (semi-chorus), The Hidden Ones (Father 2), The Frankenstein Musical (Henry alternate), Chess (Ensemble), and staged readings of Spice World: A Musical (Clifford) and Saved: A Musical Parody (Pastor Skip).  Maddy Lyons

 Maddy Lyons has been doing musical theatre since the age of 6. She is an 8th grade student at Pelham Middle School, and a lover of the arts. Maddy comes from an Irish background on both sides of the family, and grew up in a family with many traditional Irish musicians. She is very excited to be part of the cast of Dublin Rising! She is grateful to have the chance to play a strong independent female character who is a role model for other young women!

Veronica Martel

 Veronica Martel has recorded and released 5 CDs and has performed on stages all over the globe including Paris, Copenhagen, Madrid, Monte Carlo, and the Bahamas.  She was named one of the “hottest new talents in jazz” by the acclaimed Jazz Review Magazine, and had a guest star appearance on the television show “Baywatch”.  She starred Off Broadway in the limited run holiday show, “Sleigh Bells Swing”.  Veronica has performed as an opening act at private events with Donna Summer, John Mayer, Cindy Lauper, Joe Cocker and Tony Bennett and entertained at events for President Bill Clinton and Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Catherine Zeta-Jones and Michael Douglas and the Rockefeller family among others.  She is currently on tour with the classic rock experience, “Groovin’ On Tour” which celebrates the music of the 60’s and 70’s.

Jacob Morrell

 Jacob Morrell age 13 is excited to be cast as Colin in Dublin Rising.  Broadway Tour: Kinky Boots (Charlie).  Off Broadway: Shadowlands (Douglas). XY The Musical (Christine) presented at the NAMT.  Jacob has performed at Madison Square Garden and frequently does voice over work.  Much love to his Mom, Dad, and sister Jenna.  Special Thanks to Jody Prusan, Barry Kolker, Roberta from Acting Out for all their support and love.

 

Sofia Bunting Newman

 Sofia Bunting Newman is an NYC-based actor/singer/musician/writer who hails from Vancouver, BC. She spent the summer of 2019 with the Chautauqua Theater Company, where she performed in such shows as A Midsummer Night's Dream, One Man, Two Guvnors, and Preston Max Allen's Agent 355. Earlier this year, she played Thea and drums in Three of Cups' actor-musician production of Spring Awakening at the Irondale Center. Other theatrical credits include Mamma Mia!, Seussical, Salt-Water Moon, Grease, and tons of Shakespeare. Thanks to everyone involved in this stunning musical!

Joseph Peterson

Alex Schecter

 Alex Schecter is a New York based actor, singer, and model. Alex received his Bachelor of Music from Vanderbilt University's Blair School of Music in 2018, and has trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse School of Theatre, as well. Kevin Matthew Taylor

Kevin Matthew Taylor (Aiden/Adult Collin)- Recently performed with the New York City Opera in the world premiere of STONEWALL celebrating the 50th anniversary of the monumental event at Lincoln Center. Other select theatre credits include: Kristin Chenoweth: My Love Letter to Broadway (Broadway), La Cage Aux Folles, Freaky Friday: The Musical, Priscilla Queen of the Desert, Peter and The Starcatcher, and Floyd Collins. Christa Vrabel

Christa Vrabel is a recent graduate of NYU, and a proud alumni of the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film Institute. During her time there she performed in Urinetown as Little Becky Two-Shoes, and Lucille in Parade. She can now be seen trying to get into audition rooms, and calling her mom afterwards. She would like to thank the production team for the wonderful opportunity, and for creating such a challenging and beautiful piece. She would also like to thank her parents for their support.

 

 Alyssa Weathersby

Alyssa Weathersby is thrilled to join the cast of Dublin Rising as Fionna and Sister Mary Thomas. Alyssa has worked across the country as a performer and choreographer, most recently in collaboration with Opera NEO on their 2019 summer season. Earlier this year, Alyssa was seen in Seacoast Repertory Theatre’s production of Billy Elliot (u/s Mrs. Wilkinson, ensemble, dance captain), where she had also performed the role of Blanche Igram in their award-winning production of Jane Eyre. Favorite operatic and theatre performances include the roles of Elizabeth (Second Nature), Comtèsse Adele (u/s)/Alice (Le Comte Ory), Morgana (Alcina), Naiad (Ariadne auf Naxos), Cunegonde (u/s, Candide), Fury 1 (REV. 23), Tess Goode (The Sisters Rosensweig) and Woman 1 (Songs for a New World). Alyssa holds a BM in Vocal Performance from the University of Houston and an MM in Vocal Pedagogy from the New England Conservatory of Music.
